Our Mission

Embracing the Journey, Together

We provide family-centered programs and services throughout all stages of the pediatric cancer journey with compassion and integrity.

Our initiatives and activities offer financial assistance, emotional support, and social connection to ensure no family faces pediatric cancer alone. PCFLV is dedicated to bringing comfort, joy, and a sense of community to children impacted by cancer and their loved ones, for as long as they need us.

About PCFLV

From one family's journey to hundreds...

PCFLV took root in one family’s journey with pediatric cancer and now nurtures and supports hundreds of families. In 2004, one local mom whose son was battling cancer saw the need for programs and services for families like her own and founded PCFLV. What started with only a few offerings has blossomed into one of the Lehigh Valley’s most appreciated and respected nonprofits – one with over 25 programs and services that ensure no local pediatric cancer family feels alone. The foundation has grown, but that mission remains a constant. Until there’s a cure, there’s PCFLV.

Over 22 amazing years of being the Greater Lehigh Valley’s source of comfort and support for local pediatric cancer families.

Who We Are

The People Who Bring Our Mission to Life

Our small but mighty team of six women brings a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to PCFLV. In fact, two of our team members are cancer moms themselves. While each of us brings something different to the table, we share a deep passion for the children and families we serve and the work we do every day. We’re backed by a dedicated Board of Directors who generously give their time, energy, and expertise to help guide our organization and move our mission forward.

PCFLV Teen Board

Our Teen Board

Young Leaders Making a Difference

The PCFLV Teen Board is a group of passionate teenage philanthropists who are learning firsthand what it means to make a difference in their community. Led by Stefani Buck, Program & Fundraising Coordinator, the Teen Board supports PCFLV through fundraising, encourages others by volunteering at events, and empowers fellow teens to get involved and give back. Through their leadership, creativity, and energy, these young advocates are helping raise awareness of childhood cancer while inspiring more young people to make a difference.
