Volunteer Opportunities
Our volunteers play a huge role in making PCFLV’s family programs and fundraising events possible, and there are many ways to lend a hand—from helping at events and assisting with office tasks to taking on special group projects. Volunteers who want to take their involvement a step further can become PCFLV Ambassadors, receiving special training to represent us at community events and serve as knowledgeable resources who help others understand our mission and the support we provide. New opportunities arise throughout the year, so follow us on Facebook and join our email list to stay connected and be the first to hear about new ways to get involved!
Family Programs & Events
Help create welcoming, fun experiences for our PCFLV families by assisting with event setup, activities, and cleanup.
Major Fundraising Events
Lend a hand at PCFLV’s signature fundraising events by helping with setup, working registration or event stations, selling raffle tickets, tackling post-event cleanup, and more.
Office & Clerical Help
Support the PCFLV team behind the scenes with tasks such as organizing materials, preparing mailings, assembling goodie bags, and other office projects.
Special Group Projects
Gather a group of friends, coworkers, or community members to take on a special project that supports PCFLV and the families we serve. Contact michelle@pcflv.org to discuss ideas.
Become a PCFLV Ambassador
Represent PCFLV in the community at events, fundraisers, and awareness activities while helping spread the word about our mission and the support we provide to local families. Ambassadors receive special training and serve as a welcoming face of PCFLV in the community.
Camp Smile Counselors
Help make Camp Smile a week to remember by joining in the fun, and creating a safe, welcoming environment where children with cancer and their siblings can be themselves. Counselors work alongside PCFLV staff to make sure every camper feels included, supported, and excited to be part of the experience. Camp takes place for one week every June. Must be 18 years of age or older. Email kristine@pcflv.org to request a Camp Counselor application.
